AberLearn Blackboard - briefing sessions To be advised 9:00 am  

Briefing session designed for staff to provide an understanding of the new and altered features in the latest version of AberLearn Blackboard.

The briefing presentation will last about 45 minutes and there will be an opportunity for questions. After the presentation there will time for you to try out AberLearn Blackboard with E-learning Support staff on hand to help you.

This is a session on the SMART Notebook software by Matthew Pearson from Steljes Limited.

SMART notebook is powerful tool that can be used to develop interactive course material and lectures.The software is installed on all IS teaching machines and compliments the Sympodium terminals, which are available in selected teaching rooms

Introducing Exchange To be advised 9:00 am  
A course taking you through the basics of using Microsoft Outlook to access your Exchange mailbox; Signatures, Out of Office replies, recovering deleted items and much more. This course will give you a basic grounding in many of the additional features available when using Microsoft Outlook to access your Exchange mailbox. The course is expected to take around 1 hour. Prepare your AberLearn Blackboard Course for AY2012-13 To be advised 10:00 am  
This hands-on session will help staff understand how the course copy process in AberLearn Blackboard was implemented in summer 2012. It will also give staff the opportunity to organise the course menu and content areas so that the current teaching materials are available under the relevant menu headings. A short presentation will be followed by an opportunity to put into practice the principles discussed with E-learning Support staff on hand to help you. Prerequisites:
