Orange and T-Mobile:

From October 5th 2010 all AU staff who have Orange mobile phones purchased through IS will have coverage with T-Mobile as well. You will receive a text asking you to turn your phone off and on again. Please do this to update your phone.

If your phone isn’t picking up any Orange signal, it will use T-Mobile 2G signal if it’s available. You will know when you’re using T-Mobile signal because you’ll see ‘T-Mobile’ on your screen. Charges stay the same even if you see a message saying you’re roaming and it costs more. You’ll still pay the same to call Orange or T-Mobile numbers, no matter which signal is being used at the time of the call. More information can be found at the Orange website, http://www.orange.co.uk/share/
