Online Staff Profile System

Introduction

The Online Staff Profile System (OSPS) was launched in August 2016 with the aim of making information about all our staff and their expertise more accessible and discoverable on the web. The system generates staff profiles that are accessible to the public through the central University Directory and staff lists on departmental web pages. All Aberystwyth University staff and some students can maintain their own profiles.

On 28th November 2017 a new version of the Online Staff Profile System (OSPS) was launched. It introduced an improved administrative interface and increased functionality, including the following:

  • Departmental administrator role
  • Group management
  • Improved text formatting
  • Postgraduate Research Student integration
  • Automatically generated Honorary and Emeritus Staff Groups
  • Department specific configuration options
  • Multilingual Media Contactable preferences

Online Staff Profile System Support
