Employability

There are many employment prospects for graduates in law and criminology.  The knowledge and skills acquired whilst studying for a law degree equip students for the demands of many careers in politics and local government, business and the media as well as for entering either branch of the legal profession. 

For those graduates who wish to qualify as solicitors, Aberystwyth has its own Legal Practice Course within the Department.

For those graduates wishing to pursue a career at the Bar, the Department can advise students on applications to the BPTC providers, the Inns of Court and ways to enhance your legal CV.
