Visiting Day Programme
All prospective students who have been offered a place to study in the Department of Law & Criminology are invited to a visiting day. If you have not yet been offered a place but would like to visit the Department then please email law@aber.ac.uk.
Visiting days are held during February and March. Our next visiting day is on Wednesday 29 February 2012 details of which are below:-
If you are being interviewed, you should arrive and register 30 minutes prior to your interview time slot. Registration will take place in the Departmental Conference Room. Campus tours will take place after your interview.
Registration for other applicants who declined an interview: Departmental Conference Room, Hugh Owen Building from 1.00pm onwards to be followed by campus tours.

2.30 pm - Lecture - Gross negligence manslaugher: Drug dealers and their overdosing 'customers' by Dr Glenys Williams, Senior Lecturer in Law

2.00 pm - Welcome by Professor Dr Jane Jones, Lecturer in Criminology followed by:-
Talk on Studying Criminology at Aberystwyth by Dr Jane Jones, Lecturer in Criminology
2.30 pm - Lecture - Detecting Deception by Ms Jen Phipps, Lecturer in Criminology
Light Refreshments will be available both before and after the talks in the Law Conference Room, together with the opportunity to talk to members of staff and the admissions team.
