This exciting, practical course is ideal for those who wish to capture the textures, colours, and atmosphere of their inspiring local landscape. Develop experience and skills working on location, depicting the landscape from direct observation as well as in the studio. The Emphasis of the course will be on developing a range of drawing and watercolour painting techniques and understanding tone, colour and light by working from observation. The work of historical and contemporary artists will also be studied and discussed throughout the course. This course offers students an opportunity to link with previously completed landscape modules.
