Discover the fascinating world of insects and a variety of specialist watercolour and drawing techniques which can be used to capture their unique characteristics. This practical painting course is ideal for anyone undertaking field studies as well as students who wish to broaden their skills in fine art. The course will cover a variety of techniques required to accurately depict different insect forms and their specific details and colours. The artwork of historical and contemporary artists will also be discussed. Throughout the course demonstrations, group discussions and individual advice and assistance will be given. Specimens will be available to work from.
