Learning Outcomes
On completion of this module, students should be able to cogently integrate the knowledge acquired during the theoretical part of their MA course with relevant and related practical work.
Aims
The aim of this module is:
- By closely developing the previous modules and integrating theory and practice, this series of practical explorations will consider performance as a means of transferring academic investigation into an experimental mode of research.
- It will allow students to tests the disciplines and concepts of world theatre encountered during the course.
Content
Students will be required to participate in a series of practical workshops and master classes (CPR Summer Academy) and investigate the theoretical concepts explored in the previous modules. These practical explorations will be directed and supervised by a performance practitioner and/or performance researcher of international repute. This module will allow students to test the disciplines and concepts of world theatre encountered during the course.
