At the end of this course, students should
- be aware of the most important aspects of the financial structure of Italian society;
- be able to write basic letters and CVs;
- be able to summarise in English an Italian text on a business-related topic (intermediate level).
Brief description
This course aims at enabling students to communicate in a business situation, both orally and in writing, at an intermediate level. The emphasis will be on the writing of letters, role-playing in interviews and telephone conversations, CV writing, summarising in English an Italian text on a business-related topic.
Basic concepts and abbreviations likely to appear in a business context will be dealt with as they arise in the course material.
