Critically evaluate and discuss content related to the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in society
Critically analyse and discuss content related to associated theory of innovation commercialization
Critically evaluate and discuss the mechanisms of creativity and the creative process for purposes of innovation;
Critically evaluate and make informed decisions related to innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities;
Critically appraise and discuss theory related to finance, governance, management, leadership, policy and ethics of innovation and entrepreneurship
Critically evaluate and discuss the interdisciplinary theory related to innovation and entrepreneurship
Understand the role of innovation and entrepreneur networks and clusters

Internal (personal) factors of innovation and entrepreneurship;
External factors of entrepreneurship (policy culture, market factors);
Creativity and the creative process;
Evaluating business ideas and opportunities;
Financing entrepreneur business;
Launching new businesses and the business cycle;
Entrepreneurship, interventions, management and leadership;
New product commercialization and marketing;
Entrepreneurship networks and clusters.

Communication | Oral communication will be developed through class participation and group work in class. Written communication will be developed through case preparation, assessment preparation, note taking and information based discussions. Assessed in the report. |

Information Technology | Basic of data analysis will be done using software as well as finding and processing secondary information. Also the use of the basic Microsoft packages related to business and management. Assessed in the report. |
