The aim of this proposal is to develop an understanding of the issues and the techniques needed for effective management and to provide a theoretical and practical foundation in the management of people and their performance.

This module will look at the human side of management including organisation and communication. Other topics include management by objectives, organisational design and culture and planning and control systems.
