On successful completion of this module students should be able to:
Understand the complexities of girls access to education in various contexts.
Evaluate the effectiveness of intervention programs to enhance girls education.
Analyse key international policy in regards to gender equality.
Evaluate case studies and present these in an appropriate manner for non-specialists.

Brief description
This module will evaluate the factors that influence girls' access to education while critically analyzing case studies of education intervention programs. Students will have the opportunity to develop their own case study examples and to present these in the form of a poster.
Content
Sessions may be a combination of lectures, seminars or workshops and will include the following topics:
