Theatre, Film and Television Studies is offering three PhD studentships
The Department of Theatre Film and Television Studies, Aberystwyth, which was rated 5 in the 2001 Research Assessment Exercise, is inviting applications for full time PhD studentships. available from September 1 2006 and with a duration of three years. Applications are invited in the fields of:
Film and/or Television Studies and/or Media and Communication Studies
Drama and/or Theatre Studies and/or Performance Studies
Welsh Language Theatre, Performance, Film, Television, Media and Communication Studies
The successful candidates in any of these fields will be working in an area with a strong research culture.
These full-time studentships will include fees at the home student rate and maintenance of £10,500 for three years as well as a travel/conference allowance of £500 p.a. Candidates are normally expected to possess a master's level qualification or suitable professional experience.
