The Learning and Teaching Conference

Aberystwyth University is hosting its third annual Learning and Teaching Conference between 8-10 September; a major conference which will focus this year on celebrating the diversity of teaching excellence.

Celebrating the Diversity of Teaching Excellence brings together academics and specialist support colleagues from across the University to consider a diverse range of subjects, all related to the central themes of how assessment and feedback at the centre of what we do; enriching learning with media and online learning objects and engaging students in learning.

There will be a number of sessions, break out groups and keynotes over the three days. Topics include interactive and creative approaches to learning, audio feedback, e-submission, and issues surrounding the transition from school to university.

The opening keynote speaker is Alison James, Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching at University of the Arts London. Alison is an alumna of Aberystwyth University and a National Teaching Fellow, and she specialises in interactive and creative approaches to learning and teaching.
