Concert: Music Fest Fundraising Concert

Old Hall, 7pm - 9pm

MusicFest offers an amazing opportunity for students to benefit from the festival. To help with the tuition fees a charity was registered in the name of ‘Friends of MusicFest, Aberystwyth’ in 2007. This raises money for bursaries from various trusts and foundations with the help of many generous individuals whose donations are especially important to MusicFest. These funds assist students, which includes many local youngsters, who would otherwise be unable to attend the event which is so advantageous to their musical knowledge and in many cases their future careers.

Aberystwyth Cycle Festival also includes fringe events all week and of course brings you the thrills of town centre cycle races all afternoon and evening on the 26th May

With some of Britain’s top cyclists making a rare appearance in Mid Wales, festival visitors can watch all the on & off road action and also experience the beautiful and undiscovered lanes of Ceredigion on their own bikes.

Aberystwyth 'Light up the Night' walk (supporting Tenovus Cancer Care)

Old College, 6pm

On Saturday 2nd June 2018, we'll be lighting the way for cancer patients and their loved ones across Aberystwyth, starting and ending at the beautiful Old College on the seafront. The route will take walkers from the Old College across New Promenade and South Marine Terrace towards the Harbour, before taking walkers along the Ystwyth Trail to Blaendolau playing fields and back. The route is approximately 5.1 miles, and is mostly flat, so you don't need to be of any specific fitness level to enjoy the walk!
