The Departments of Computer Science and Physics have long been looking to the stars and participating in missions with expertise in robotics, instrumentation, and planetary physics.

Recently, we have been working on the ESA/Roscosmos ExoMars rover. Come along to hear about our passion for space exploration and to meet our new ExoMars rover for outreach.

The will be an exhibition from 4pm, with a series of talks from 6pm onwards. A keynote talk will be given by Mrs Sue Horne MBE, Head of Space Exploration from the UK Space Agency. Drinks and nibbles will be available during the evening.

Concert: Music Fest Fundraising Concert

Old Hall, 7pm - 9pm

MusicFest offers an amazing opportunity for students to benefit from the festival. To help with the tuition fees a charity was registered in the name of ‘Friends of MusicFest, Aberystwyth’ in 2007. This raises money for bursaries from various trusts and foundations with the help of many generous individuals whose donations are especially important to MusicFest. These funds assist students, which includes many local youngsters, who would otherwise be unable to attend the event which is so advantageous to their musical knowledge and in many cases their future careers.
