ATAS: JACS Codes for Postgraduate Courses and Research Programmes

A full listing of our courses and research opportunities and their relevant JACS Codes for the 2011-2012 session are listed below per department. Please note that the listing of PGDE courses is shown separately as there are different entry requirements for these courses. This site will be subject to review throughout the academic year and is thus subject to change.  The following is only a guide and confirmation of the appropriate JACS code for a particular research project would be required from the proposed research supervisor AU.

N.B. AU Study Scheme Codes are not the same as JACS Codes. AU assigns SS Codes for our own administrative purposes. SS Codes for PGCE courses are standard GTTR codes. JACS codes are used by HESA to to describe the course subject area /research
