Can I find part-time work in Aberystwyth?

Our Careers Advisory Service has set up JobLink to help our students find part-time work to supplement their finances and gain valuable work experience. Students should ensure that they have secured a main source of finance (e.g. a scholarship or a loan) and not rely solely on earnings from part-time work.

If you are a non-EEA student, you would be subject to UK Employment Regulations (e.g. a maximum 20 hours work per week). Any conditions on your eligibility to work would be specified on your student visa.

If you are a Bulgarian or a Romanian national, you might have to apply for a registration certificate if you want to work in the UK, even though you are now an EEA national.
