International Politics
The Department of International Politics was founded in 1919 as an antidote to war – as such it was the first of its kind and was both an academic and an idealistic enterprise. The Department is dedicated to the study of International Relations. As one of the largest departments in Europe, we offer a range of programmes and opportunities, and a world-class learning environment for postgraduate students. The graduate school is an integral part of the Department’s life, attracting some of the best students from around the World. We are justifiably proud of our students, many of whom have gone on to successful careers both in academia and other professions.
