MSc in Exercise and Health Research
The Aberystwyth MSc in Exercise and Health Research offers you a strong education in the scientific process as applied to the subject-specific knowledge areas of Physiology, Psychology and Biomechanics – the core disciplines of Sport and Exercise Science. This course is delivered through the department of Sport and Exercise Science (SES) and was designed in close consultation with potential employers, such as the National Health Service, National Institute for Social Care and Health Research, and Defence Science and Technology Laboratory. One year full-time. The academic year (September to September) is divided into three semesters: September to January; January to June; June to September. This course can also be offered part-time. |
| Assessment: |
Assessment takes the form of coursework essays, modular examination and dissertation. Each student will complete a master’s dissertation which deals with an area of chosen study. |

If you have a Bachelor’s degree from a UK University, you do not need to take an English proficiency test. Non-native English speakers who do not meet this requirement must take a University-recognised test of academic English language proficiency. A good honours' degree or better in a relevant discipline. Candidates with equivalent experience will be considered on a case by case basis. |
