Psychology Department Celebrate Their First Postgraduate Student

Psychology can now add its first postgraduate to its list of achievements since it became an independent department in 2008, previously being a centre within International Politics. Tamsin Williams qualified for her doctorate in Psychology this July and she will now join the Psychology team from September as a junior lecturer. Tamsin's specialist subject area is neurological deterioration in artists, specifically Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s Disease. The main topic of her research was the early detection of neuro-degeneration through the fractal analysis of paintings.
