Your experienced admin team, here to support you throughout your time as a student. Based in the Psychology Main Office (1.11 P5) the admin staff can help with a range of queries and if they can’t help they will find out who can and point you in the right direction. So if you are not sure who you should talk to or what you should do about anything this is your ‘one stop shop’ for help and support.

We have an open door policy between 10am and 4pm so please pop in and say hello.

Timetable / Seminar / Attendance Queries

The admin team manage the timetable, seminar allocations and attendance records so if you have any questions regarding these please get in touch.

Your timetable is available through your student record.  Attendance is compulsory and if you cannot attend you should let the module coordinator and the Admin office (psdstaff@aber.ac.uk) know by email.

You should use your Abercard to swipe in to record your attendance at lectures and seminars.  Please make sure you record your attendance between the right time frame for it to count (10 minutes either side of the lecture slot).  If you do not have your card we are unable to update your attendance afterwards to please try to have your card with you at all sessions.

It may be possible to change your seminar group to another day time but this is dependent on space available as well as module specific requirements such as group work.  If you need to swap seminar groups you should try to do this as early in the term as possible.

Details on timetabling are available here:

https://www.aber.ac.uk/en/timetable/

Registration / Exam Queries

The admin team also coordinate registration, pre-registration at Easter as well as exams.  Your personal tutor or staff in the office can help with queries you may have about changing modules, scheme or withdrawing from university.

Information on Registration, including how to change modules and/or scheme, can be found here
