The Institute of Geography and Earth Sciences is committed to developing innovative and novel interdisciplinary postgraduate teaching and research as well as being involved in mainstream geography, earth and environmental science.
Our range of Masters programmes has expanded significantly in recent years. We now offer six Masters programmes that provide the opportunity to specialise in particular areas of interest.
In the last Teaching Quality Assessment by the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales, our undergraduate and masters teaching was recognised as being in the “Excellent” category. For further information see our brochure or visit the department's website.
