Law

The Law Department at Aberystwyth seeks to ensure that all students acquire a thorough grounding in the fundamental principles and methods of the law, in legal reasoning and the legal system and its institutions. Within these parameters, the Department aims to give students the maximum choice possible in selecting a scheme of study appropriate to their aims and ambitions. For this reason, the Department offers a number of different law degrees - LLB, the BA (Law) and two Law with Languages schemes. There is also a two-year scheme for those who have already graduated in a discipline other than law.
