Mathematics

Innovation and change have been constant features of the department. Our syllabuses reflect the rapid growth of Mathematics, and its use in the wider community. You can take part in the blossoming of the subject, while postgraduates are actively led to the new boundaries. The department is small enough to have an overall caring philosophy and yet has the research strength to have been awarded consistently high grades in the national Research Assessment Exercise.
