If you are interested in understanding the human mind and human behaviour then psychology is the subject for you. Few subjects can challenge psychology either for breadth or depth of knowledge. Psychology requires you to develop your understanding of that most complex structure - the human brain, how it works and how it influences what we do. As you learn psychology at Aberystwyth you will gain insight into the complexities of human relationships, why people develop mental disorders and addictions, the reasons why conflicts occur and how basic psychological processes underlie aspects of everyday life such as healthcare, education and consumer behaviour.
