A guide to completion of new / restructured module proposal forms

These guidelines do not intend to provide a prescriptive form of words for completing the form, but aim to clarify some of the questions.

Changes to a module which will require Faculty approval, as distinct from merely being reported to Faculty, include:

  • Substantial revision of module content
  • Any change in the designated level
  • Any change in the credit weighting
  • Any change in the learning outcomes and/or methods of assessment
