F: Other General Information
Q1 Bibliography:
The list should be of sufficient length, normally up to 10, to indicate the range of key sources but does not need to be exhaustive. Please give full details of each source - author, date, title, publisher. Since its contents will appear on the module database, students may see this as a reading list. Departments should use other established channels to inform Information Services of the texts required for the module, their requested loan status etc.
Q2.2 Library and IT requirements:
Library and IT requirements should include some indication of the frequency of use of IT, eg. is a computer laboratory needed every week, intermittently etc? What software is needed, what printing facilities? Library and IT requirements should be discussed with the appropriate Academic Liaison Librarian at an early stage in the formulation of proposals. The Director of Information Services will not sign the form until and unless such discussions have been satisfactorily concluded. (Please see http://www.inf.aber.ac.uk/subject/staff.asp#ALL: or http://www.inf.aber.ac.uk/subject/cymraeg/staff.asp#lca)
Q4 Please provide an estimate of student demand / recruitment potential:
This will usually be determined through the departmental teaching strategy and associated targets.
Q8 Any further information:
It is not necessary to include anything. It might be worth mentioning if the module is the result of comments from External Examiners or other agencies or if a ‘market' for the module has been identified in any way. Suggestions for overcoming any resource problems or delivery logistics can be included if these are likely to be apparent to the module coordinator and/or Head of Department, but not to an extra-Departmental reviewer.
