Responsibilities

Robert provides administrative support to the Research Office in Aberystwyth and to the four Research & Enterprise Partnership research centres.  He acts as secretary to the management boards of the research centres and organises Partnership events. 

Biography

Robert's background encompasses a number of administration and PA roles in the voluntary and public sectors. After completing his degree in French and Drama at Royal Holloway, University of London, Robert worked in the fundraising department at the charity Scope. He then joined the Refugee Council as an administrator, later taking on the role of PA to the Deputy Chief Executive. He was involved in a number of advocacy and campaigning activities alongside his PA duties. In 2006 Robert joined English Partnerships (later to become the Homes and Communities Agency) as administrator with a team of town planners and urban regeneration specialists. He was then asked by this team to undertake the project management of a new programme of work; providing specialist planning support for renewable energy projects.  Robert joined the University in May 2011 as maternity cover for Nicole Finnigan.
