Compact and Partnership Agreements

Aberystwyth University has Compact Agreements with certain schools and colleges in Wales and England. These include the Bridgend Higher Education Compact and the Higher Education CARD initiative in the West Midlands, which includes schools and colleges in areas of Birmingham and Solihull, the Black Country, Coventry, Warwickshire, Herefordshire,Worcestershire, Shropshire, Telford, Wrekin and Staffordshire.

The University has also signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Coleg Ceredigion, which includes guaranteed progression for students from Coleg Ceredigion to the University.

Aberystwyth recognises the educational and personal development value of the Compact goals. The achievement of these goals will be taken into positive account when making decisions about applicants from our Compact partner schools and colleges.
