Come and see us at the Urdd Youth Eisteddfod, Eryri 2012!

Urdd Gobaith Cymru is Wales' leading youth organisations and the Urdd National Eisteddfod is one of the largest cultural youth festivals in Europe. The Eisteddfod attracts over 100,000 visitors, 15,000 competitors and almost a million television viewers.

The Urdd National Eisteddfod will be held this year near Glynllifon College about 6 miles from Caernarfon. Join us to sample the Eisteddfod’s unique atmosphere between Monday, 4th June and Saturday, 9th June 2012.

Representatives from Aberystwyth University's Physics Department will be at the GwyddonLe on Monday the 4th of June and Tuesday the 5th of June. Don’t forget to come to the GwyddonLe, where you can take part in fun activities that Aberystwyth University lecturers will be conducting.

For 15 years the University has been the official provider of public access to the web, a service that enables those visiting the Eisteddfod to get the latest information and send and receive e-mails free of charge.

The University has for many years been a sponsor of the Sports Department of Urdd Gobaith Cymru. The partnership has gone from strength to strength with the University involved in numerous activities with the Urdd including its Programme of Training Courses.
