Provision of Welsh in the Workplace and Welsh for the Family

Biography

After graduating from Aberystwyth in 1988 and undertaking the PGCE course in 1990, I started working as a Welsh teacher and head of Drama at Ysgol Penweddig, Aberystwyth. I was there until 2002 when I decided to leave the world of education and work in the community development sector. I worked for the Curiad Caron Cyf. company at Tregaron for two and a half years prior to working for Menter Iaith Bro Teifi in Newcastle Emlyn for a further two years. I have worked in the Welsh for Adults Centre since 2007, where I have responsibility for the provision of Welsh in the Workplace and Welsh for the Family. I also teach Welsh to a class of University staff on Penglais campus.

I am married with three children and we live in the world’s hub - Llangeitho.
