Responsibilities

I lecture on the Education and Childhood Studies undergraduate degree schemes and teach on the following modules: Working with play, Play in practice, Special Educational Needs and Study skills.

Research

My research interests relate to disability and special educational needs, particularly looking at disabled students’ transition into higher education. On completion of my PhD I intend develop my research into a number of different strands: exploring pastoral support within higher education and the inclusion of young children in primary schools

Biography

I gained a 1st class BA (hons) in Education and Childhood studies in University of Wales, Cardiff. I went on to study at postgraduate level and I am currently completing my PhD. I moved from Cardiff to Aberystwyth in 2012 and became lecturer in the School of Education and Lifelong Learning
