Your Personal Tutor

As part of our continued pastoral support each students is allocated a personal tutor pre arrival. A contact letter with information regarding the tutor is sent out with the information pack.

Your personal tutor will contact you during the second week of term and will arrange meetings via email. They will be available to discuss any problems that arise throughout your time at Aberystwyth.

Student Support Rota

If you need to see someone urgently and your personal tutor is teaching/researching then please contact Mrs Ffion Hoare. She will then refer you to the member of staff who is 'on call' for that day. The rota can also be seen by students on Blackboard.

Education Mentor Scheme

Now in its second year, the Education Mentor Scheme supports all first year Undergraduates who opt to join the scheme.

Considered a 'safety net' by past students,  the group mentoring scheme involves a 2nd or 3rd year Student Mentor giving extra peer support to first year students during the first semester at University.
