Biography

In 2001 I graduated from Aberystwyth University with a BSc in Rural Resource Management at Aberystwyth University, where I specialized in business and economics. Having obtained the BSc I worked for two years as Certification and Assessment Coordinator of the Farm Assurance Welsh Livestock Scheme.
During my two years employment with FAWL I studied for an MSc Econ in Entrepreneurship through the medium of Welsh. In 2003 I joined Aberystwyth University as an Investigational Officer with the Farm Business Survey. In November 2010 I moved to the School of Management and Business as a Teaching Fellow in Management.
I am also very active in sport and in particular rugby where I was selected for the Welsh Academicals and have captained both my local team Aberystwyth and the University. I also coached both the University men and women rugby teams over a period of 10 years. I represented Wales at the British College’s tournament in Men’s Hockey.
My other interest is agriculture where I have a flock of Pedigree Suffolk Sheep and am the Welsh representative on the Suffolk Sheep Society Council.
