Biography
Homagni attended the University of Delhi, where he received a degree in BA(Honours) Economics in 2005. Following this, he completed a Master’s in International Business Economics from Lancaster University in 2007. He has recently defended his doctoral thesis successfully in June 2012 at the University of Dundee. Homagni was awarded the prestigious Dundee Discovery Scholarship to pursue his Doctoral research. His PhD thesis addressed the effects of economic reforms on labour market outcomes in India with a particular focus on the changing inter-industry wage structure in the organised manufacturing sector in India.
Homagni has a strong background in academia with professional research and teaching experience in a wide range of topics in economics and related areas in both UK and India. Prior to joining Aberystwyth University, he had substantial teaching experience at the University of Dundee and the University of Stirling.
