Biography

Ian Thomas is an Aberystwyth University MBA graduate who returned to Wales following a successful career in the commercial sector based in London and the South East. Ian directs the taught postgraduate programmes within the School of Management and Business, overseeing the design, delivery and development of the School’s taught postgraduate provision, as well as directing the School’s international strategy.
In order to further internationalise the School’s activities, programmes and student experience, Ian travels overseas extensively, promoting the school and establishing international programmes of collaboration with overseas HEI’s.  
Since moving into the higher education sector Ian also has gained extensive experience of the MBA accreditation processes, both from an institutional perspective and through the experience of being a Faculty Member of the Association of MBAs Assessment Panel.

Teaching experience includes:

Human Resource Management, Managerial Skills, Managerial Reports and Managing People with a particular interest in Team-Working and Team-Roles.
