The central aim of the Business and Management degree schemes at Aberystwyth is to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed in modern business and management. Research is at the core of our teaching. Our academic staff publish in leading academic journals and regularly act as consultants to a range of organizations. We have significant research strengths in areas such as entrepreneurship, human resource management, international business and operations and supply chain management.
We encourage our students to question received wisdom and to learn to be constructively critical. The cultivation of a critical mind is crucial for today’s managers: the world economy is facing many challenges and organizations will not succeed without having people capable of generating new ideas and approaches. On successful completion of your Business and Management degree you’ll have developed a professional insight into essential business functions that include Management, Marketing, Accounting, Finance and Economics. In addition to this insight you will have developed an impressive array of relevant and practical business skills.
