Business and Management Combined Degree Schemes

The Aberystwyth School of Management and Business offers an excellent range of combined degree schemes in which you can combine the study of business and management with another discipline in Social Science, Science or Arts and Humanities.

Students of those other disciplines benefit greatly from the case-study analysis, project work and simulation activities which are an integral part of the Business and Management component of the course, developing a good understanding of the tools and techniques that managers use in developing practical solutions. You will also develop the skills to analyse management issues in relation to company priorities, external factors and current perceptions of good practice.

Business Major:

In Business Major degrees you study Business and Management for 66% of your time, together with a Minor subject which accounts for the other 33%. These degrees are usually called Business and Management with Subject X.

As with Single Honours schemes, so all our Business Major programmes offer you the opportunity to go on Aberystwyth's unique Year in Employment Scheme (YES) programme and gain valuable practical experience in a real business environment. Our Exchange and Erasmus programmes also give you the opportunity to study at a university in Europe or North America. This has proved to be a real advantage for our graduates when first entering the job market. For students who combine a Business and Management subject with a language, there will also be the opportunity to study or work in a country where business is conducted in that language.

Business Minor:

In Business Minor degrees you study Business and Management for 33% of your time, together with a Major subject which accounts for the other 66%. These degrees are usually called Subject X with Business and Management

Degrees offering Major and Minor Honours in Business and Management
