Business Economics Single Honours

Overview

Businesses managers may sometimes seem to be at the mercy of economic forces which they do not understand and cannot control. However, professional managers, decision-makers and investors can form strategies based on a sound understanding of economic theory and practice. The Business Economics degree focuses on the practical application of Economic ideas, knowledge and methods, within the context of decision-making situations in Business. Focusing on real business decision-making tools, rather than on abstract mathematical formulae, the Business Economics degree will equip you with a coherent understanding of Economics as an impact assessment tool in the commercial environment. The single honours scheme runs over 3 years. Combinations of Business Economics with other subjects, which also run over 3 years, are available as Major/Minor schemes.
