Gerald Davies joins 10th Birthday Celebration
The Department will open its doors to the public on Sunday morning between 10am-12pm (27 May) to celebrate itstenth anniversary, which also coincides with the Olympic Torch celebrations at Aberystwyth.
As well as a tour and providing demonstrations of the laboratories, the Department will also welcome the former Welsh International and British Lion, Gerald Davies CBE and ex-Welsh International, Dafydd Jones to a formal dinner and Lecture on Saturday 26 May.
falls conference and networking event
The Department, in collaboration with the Ceredigion Strategic Falls Group, Hywel Dda will host a falls conference and networking event on June 18th in th Mail Hall in Interpol on the Pengais Campus. The event is open to anyone with an interest in falls including medical and care professionals and members of the public.
Department publishes article in Western Mail
On the 3rd May an article about vitamin D, co-written by two memebers of the Sport and Exercise Science Department was published in Western mail.
Postgraduate student awarded travel grant
Robert Morris a postgraduate student in the Sport and Exercise Science Department has been awarded a travel grant to attend the Signature Pedagogies in Sport and Exercise Science workshop.
