Profile

Daniel graduated with a BSc (Hons) degree in Sports and Exercise Science from Aberystwyth University in 2007. Following this he gained a sports scholarship to study for his Masters in Exercise Science at the University of Dayton (USA) which he completed in May 2009. His thesis for his Masters degree was titled ‘Age, Sex and Finish Time as determinants of Pacing in the Marathon’, which was published in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research (see below). Daniel then began his MPhil in July 2010 under the supervision of Dr. Glen Davison and Dr. Rhys Thatcher.
