Profile
James completed a BSc (Hons) in sport and exercise science at Leeds Metropolitan University, graduating in 2009. Following this James completed a MSc in sports biomechanics also at Leeds Metropolitan University, graduating in 2010. Over this time his main research interests including technique analysis and movement variability. Outside research he also assisted in providing biomechanical support to professional golfers. In October 2010, James started his PhD under the supervision of Dr Mark Burnley and Dr Ed Chadwick.

Stroke rehabilitation, in particular: hemiplegic shoulder pain, shoulder stability and functional electrical stimulation.
