Katie began a part-time PhD with the Department of Sport and Exercise Science at Aberystwyth University in July 2008 under the supervision of Professor David Lavallee. Katie’s route to Aberystwyth has included a First Class History BA Hons Degree at Nottingham University, a Psychology Postgraduate Conversion Course and, most recently, an MSc in Sport and Exercise Psychology at Loughborough University, graduating in 2006 with Distinction. Katie currently works full-time as a Research Consultant at Lane4 Management Group, an international Performance Development Consultancy with a heritage in elite performance and sport psychology. Katie is responsible for developing and delivering high quality applied research to ensure that Lane4’s consultancy services and product offerings provide innovative and practical business solutions. Outside of her work commitments, Katie works with athletes across many different sporting disciplines as part of her BPS Sport and Exercise Psychology Accreditation.
