About Box Rox

Box Rox is our bespoke indoor climbing wall, designed by DR Climbing Walls, one of the leading climbing wall manufacturers. It caters for a wide range of abilities with its 3 distinct areas covering a total of 147m².

For novice climbers there is a large bouldering slab with clearly marked climbing routes to build confidence. Intermediate and experienced climbers will also enjoy the specially featured bouldering wall as well as the overhanging lead climb wall and the challenging routes set by some of Britain's top climbers. Features and pockets have been skilfully sculpted to simulate rock features, with bolt-on hold placements allowing regular route alteration, so that climbing at Box Rox always presents new challenges.

The lead/top rope area is open for climbing at supervised times. With four route lines, including two overhanging routes and a corner to practice bridging technique, the 5m wall caters for climbers of all abilities.

The cellar wall is set at a consistent overhanging angle of 20 degrees and provides an excellent training facility for more advanced climbers keen to develop their strength.
