Spinning Sessions will be pay as you go, you can book/pay up to a week in advance of the session.
Gold card members can block book sessions a month in advance. These must be well attended by individuals or names will be withdrawn from the lists.
The Sports Centre opened its New Spinning ® Studio in October 2010.
Spinning® takes a normal bike, with all the adjustments and allows you to train indoors in a group setting - beginners and advanced riders can work alongside each other, varying the intensity of the workout through easy adjustments. The bike controls the latest technology to show heart rate, speed (cadence) and calories burned to keep you motivated and in charge of your workout. There are no barriers of age or fitness and our highly qualified instructors will lead you through a fun guided, effective and motivating session to maximise your fitness potential.

- Friday 7.45am - 8.30am
Hills and Thrills
- Monday: 6.15pm - 7.00pm
- Tuesday: 12.10pm - 12.55pm
- Thursday: 12.15pm - 1.15pm (1 Hour Class)
- Friday 12.00-12.50pm
- Friday: 6.00pm - 6.45pm
- Saturday: 9.15am - 10.15am (1 Hour Class)
Sportif Spin Challenge
- Monday 12.00pm - 13.00pm (1 Hour Class)
Other Information
How do I Start?
You could observe a class and talk to an instructor. Next collect the timetable from the Sports Centre reception desk. Book in and bring along a friend for support.
How Long is a Class?
The classes run for 45 minutes which includes a warm-up, cool down and stretching.
What do I Wear?
Wear anything that is comfortable and non-restrictive such as cycling shorts, running tights, t-shirt and a pair of well supported trainers.
What Accessories do I Need?
- Water bottle - The bikes are designed to hold one and you will need to take on water during the class.
- Towel - This class makes you sweat!
First Timers
Turn up 5 minutes before the class to identify yourself to the instructor, they will help set your bike up. Make time to adjust the bike to fit your body. It is also important to inform the instructor of any health problems.

- Members: £3.10 £31.00
- Non Members: £3.60 £36.00
