Basic Membership
Welcome to free use of indoor and outdoor sports areas and discounted rates to the gym, pool, classes and Box Rox.

Gold Cards
Gold Cards are set up so that you pay in advance for your workout - you can do this by monthly Direct Debit and save the hassle of having to bring cash to the Centre. The monthly payment covers you for unlimited visits your favourite area - you can chose a Gold Card for one area only. Gym Gold allows you access to the three gyms. Pool Gold for unlimited swimming session - or upgrade to Spa Gold and get use of the saunarium as well. The Exercise Gold allows you to attend any of our FitTogether classes. Spin Gold for Spinning sessions only. For the dedicated Sports Centre user, we have the Platinum Card, that allows you access to all of these areas - so you can chose from day to day.
Your Gold Card must run in line with your membership, but you are able to buy one pro-rata at any time during the year for a small admin fee. If you are thinking of getting a Gold Card, then phone the Membership Office for more advice, or come along to the Sports Centre and speak to one of our staff who will be able to help you.

You are welcome to come and have a look around at what we have to offer and to talk to our staff who will be able to help you find the best deal for you. The Membership Office is open during the week and has late night opening on two nights a week, so feel free to come in after work. You can pay for your membership at the till or set up a direct debit to help spread the cost. What if I joined last year?
We normally send renewal out the month before they are due, but you are welcome to drop us a line on sports@aber.ac.uk or phone 01970 621500 if you wish to update and we will complete the necessary paperwork for you. Your current swipe card will still be valid, so please hang on to it.
What happens next?
Once you have paid for your membership, you will be able to access to the Sports Centre and gain all the benefits of being a member. We will issue you with a swipe card that you will need to bring with you on every visit and check in at reception as it holds all the data regarding your membership and any Gold Cards you have.
