What does being a member entitle me to?

As a Sports Centre Member you're entitled to all these great benefits.

Membership Rates 2011/12

1st August 2011 – 31st July 2012

Basic Membership 

Welcome to free use of indoor and outdoor sports areas and discounted rates to the gym, pool, classes and Box Rox.

Gold Cards

Gold Cards are set up so that you pay in advance for your workout - you can do this monthly through your bank and save the hassle of having to bring cash to the Centre. The monthly payment covers you for unlimited visits to the gym, pool or classes, and is roughly the same price as coming to the centre and paying at the till for 1.5 workouts - so great value for our loyal customers! Tick the box on your application form, or drop us an email and we set up your access immediately.

You are welcome to come and have a look around at what we have to offer and to talk to our staff who will be able to help you find the best deal for you.  The Membership Office is open during the week and has late night opening on two nights a week, so feel free to come in after work.  You can pay for your membership at the till or set up a direct debit to help spread the cost.  Please download and complete our membership application form, or come along to the Sports Centre reception or contact us at anytime to discuss your membership options.

What if I joined last year?

We normally send renewal out the month before they are due, but you are welcome to drop us a line on sports@aber.ac.uk or phone 01970 621500 if you wish to update and we will complete the necessary paperwork for you.  Your current swipe card will still be valid, so please hang on to it.

What happens next?

Once you have paid for your membership, you will be able to access to the Sports Centre and gain all the benefits of being a member.  We will issue you with a swipe card that you will need to bring with you on every visit and check in at reception as it holds all the data regarding your membership and any Gold Cards you have.
