Induction Completion

Essential Tasks

As part of the induction process you are contractually required to complete the following tasks:

To be completed within two weeks of commencing employment:

1. Be provided with the induction plan tailored by your department to your specific role

2. Aberystwyth University Induction Statement: copies of this document must be retained by you, your department and a copy forwarded to Human Resources.

3. Login into the Self Service system which will allow you to securely view, edit and maintain certain details held about you, on the HR and Payroll system.

4. Health, Safety & Environment: All staff must complete the S010 Induction Report

5. Diversity E‐learning Course

To be completed within six weeks of commencement of employment

1. Complete Probation Compact (academic and academic related staff only)

To be attended within six months of commencement of employment

1. Attend New Staff Welcome event.
