Days Out
Aberystwyth is a very busy place and if you look has tons of things for you to do; the surrounding area is packed full of fun activities for you to see and take part in too.
To keep friends and family occupied when they come to visit you, or if you simply fancy a day out, we've listed a few places around Aberystwyth that will help you plan that day out:
Borth and Ynyslas
Animalarium - the Animalarium has a collection of unusual and interesting animals, domestic farm animals that you can pet and feed, and they also has exotic and endangered species too.
The Dunes and Beaches - quite simply a stunning place for you to spend a day with the six miles of golden sands and dunes.
Machynlleth
King Arthur's Labyrinth - the Labyrinth is an underground adventure, which includes a boat journey along an underground river.
Centre for Alternative Technology - the Centre for Alternative Technology is an interesting and exiting centre that is a well worth visit.
They'll show you practical solutions to all sorts of environmental problems to carry us through the 21st Century.
Newquay
Sealife - Boat trips are very popular amongst tourists and students and Newquay offer you some great wildlife spotting trips throughout the year. Dolphin Survey Boat Trip, offers you four and eight hour boat trips, and although seeing dolphins isn't always guaranteed, it's an amazing day out on the water.
Devil's Bridge
Take a walk along the Devil's Bridge nature trail and see the magnificent 300 foot waterfalls and the 3 bridges, descend Jacob's ladder, cross the humped bridge and hine in the Robber's Cave, just make sure you wear decent shoes!
