Pubs & Clubs
For this particular section of Student Life we're focusing on the pubs and clubs of Aberystwyth. We'll start by saying that Aberystwyth has around 53 pubs and clubs and you can find the most popular ones on the Aberystwyth.org website.
Every term night is a student night at Aberystwyth: all pubs will give you a different student atmosphere with food and drink promotions depending on the night of the week, loads of them have late night closing, and a few stay open 24 hours.
Saying all this, the thing that makes Aberystwyth's night life so good are all the little things:
- you'll never feel lonely as you always bump into friends
- you'll get roped into dressing up in fancy dress
- you're never far from home - if you live on campus you're never more than a couple of pounds away in a taxi
- good value for money - food and drink won't cost you as much
- a friendly atmosphere throughout the University and the Town

The social life here is brilliant, especially if you get involved with the clubs and societies. Every Wednesday is the best night out! It’s really, really good. I love the atmosphere of the place, it’s so nice and so student-orientated it’s amazing.
