In our opinion, it's no good if you have to rely on the nightlife in a city or town, a university needs to be able to give you a rocking nightlife, and most importantly, one that's full of unforgettable nights, cheap prices, safe, and on your doorstep! Our campus bars, as well as your Students' Union will give you some of the best nights you'll ever have; no matter what you're into you will find it here.

Students' Union

Aberystwyth University Students' Union has everything you'll need to have a fulfilling social life before and after the sun sets, away from your serious academic studies!

The Union is run by the students for you, to meet your every need on representation and support, recreational activities and services. You can join “Team Aber” where you can choose from a wide variety of sports clubs and activities. You can join a society or even make your own! Get involved in Volunteering with lots of great projects on offer, this will certainly improve your employability factor! You can also get confidential impartial advice and support, from welfare to representation.

The Students' Union is a social gathering place where you can put your feet up and let the day float past, shoot some pool, catch up with friends, play on the arcade machines, watch the massive projector TVs or use the computers there! - Everyday life in the Union is always relaxed.

At night time the Student's Union has a varying line up of events depending on the day of the week. From "Sunday at the movies" to Wednesday's "Reload" to Friday's "Quids in", you're always guaranteed great prices, awesome music and a great night out!

Arts Centre

The Arts Centre is a "National Flagship" for arts and recently completed a major £4.3 million redevelopment and has some amazing facilities and acts for you to enjoy on nights out. Simply put: the Arts Centre has something for all tastes, lifestyles and interests. From classical music to dance nights hosted by some of the UK's top DJs to world class comedians. Recent acts include, Duffy, Jimmy Carr, Pendulum, Westwood, and Royal Opera.
